       WUTC is a 30,000 watt public radio station licensed to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. We are the area's only public radio station that provides National Public Radio news programs such as Morning Edition and All Things Considered. Prairie Home Companion, from Public Radio International, is one of the many syndicated shows that we present. In addition to the syndicated programs, we provide quality entertainment with locally produced jazz, blues, Celtic, new age, Cajun, and reggae shows.

       Our studios,which are located on the UTC campus in Cadek Hall, are also used by the Communication Department to provide hands-on instruction in audio production. As of December, 1997, WUTC has completed the upgrade to digital broadcasting equipment. The new digital transmitter was installed just prior to Christmas, and was made possible thanks to the generous contributions from listeners like you.
